Kuwaiti Consul General handing gifts to the poor in District 6, Ho Chi Minh City

On 12 April 2013, Mr. Omar Al-Qenaei, Consul General handed gifts to 100 poor households in Ward 7, District 6 of Ho Chi Minh City. The gifts include rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar, etc. The event was organized thanks to the kind assistance of the Red Cross Association of the city.

The Consul General said that he was very happy to contribute to helping the poor in the area and pledged that the Consulate would continue this tradition in the future.

In response, both  Mr. Nguyen Huy Thang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ward 7, District 6  and Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuc, Vice Chairman of the Red Cross Association of HCMC expressed their sincere thanks for the Consul General’s kind assistance and hoped that the Consulate would help more poor people in the future.
