On October 17, 2016 at the office of the Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ly Quoc Tuan, Director, received and granted the Certificate of Consular Acceptance to Mr. Khaled Falah Al-Mutairi, newly appointed Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Ly Quoc Tuan congratulated Mr. Khaled Falah Al-Mutairi on his appointment as a Consul General, confirmed that the Consular Department and the Department of External Relations in Ho Chi Minh City shall actively support Mr. Khaled Falah Al-Mutairi to fulfill his tenure in Vietnam and cooperate with the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait to promote the bilateral relationship between Kuwait and Vietnam.

Mr. Khaled Falah Al-Mutairi thanked and conveyed the greetings of Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to Vietnamese Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, reiterated Kuwait’s keenness on boosting cooperation and friendship ties, pointing to the recent visit by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, during which several trade agreements and a number of memorandum of understanding (MOU) were signed. Mr. Khaled Falah Al-Mutairi also affirmed to try his best to contribute to the enhancement of bilateral relationship on the areas that both countries are interested in.
