Vietnam and Kuwait have agreed on visa exemptions for their diplomatic and official passport holders,

An agreement to this effect was signed by Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Le Luong Minh and his Kuwaiti counterpart Khaled Al-Jarallah on 13 October 2012.

The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of preparatory meetings for the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit (ACD) in the country's capital Kuwait City.
